“The best song I've ever written. My God. Opened the vault and played last night and the reaction,” shared Minaj. “My babies need to have this. The world needs this. The trees will grow. Guys I'm in love. I'm not kidding with you.
The 40-year-old actress dropped some insight into fan interactions with her beloved Barbz. One fan asked if Minaj was “talking about the first #PinkFriday2 song,” to which she responded, “No, honey. This will not be the first song on the tracklist.”
Another excited fan expressed satisfaction at Minaj's reveal, commenting, "you got some hits in there, ik it." The “Super Freaky Girl” host confirmed, and then some in response from her: “Oh baby, this is beyond just having 'hits'. This is the word that stands above ALL OTHER words. This is a C-L-A-S-S-I-C.
Minaj doubled down even further when a fan recalled, "The way we Barbz will remember when you said it after hearing the song in November will be LEGENDARY because you never LIE!!!".
The rap icon responded: "And you can bet all the money in the world on that boo. I'm serious now, wow. That's what my babies deserve. And you know I don't throw certain terms around loosely. But 'classic' is the word. Hits galore. But 'classic' is the word.
Minaj's fifth album, Pink Friday 2—the follow-up to her record-breaking debut, Pink Friday—is set to arrive on November 17th, after being originally slated for an October release.
