This past Tuesday (July 11), Cordae and Naomi Osaka marked a joyous milestone by becoming first-time parents to a baby girl, as reported by People.
The couple initially signaled their expanding family in a heartfelt Instagram post shared by Osaka in January. "Looking forward to getting back on the court, but here's an exciting preview of 2023," wrote the tennis player, captioning an image of her ultrasound. Fast forward to June, and the four-time Grand Slam champion has confirmed the gender of his next addition - a girl.
While 2023 saw an athlete put her tennis endeavors to rest, she is unequivocal about a return in 2024. In her pregnancy announcement, the internationally renowned sportsman knew the challenges she felt.
“The last few years have been interesting, to say the least, but I think it's the most anxious times in life that can be the most fun,” she said, adding, “2023 will be a year full of lessons for me, and I look forward to seeing you at the start of the year. Next, because I'll be at [Australian Open] 2024.
