Quavo Says He's Open To Producing New Gospel Album

Rapper Quavo teased details of his upcoming solo album recently.


Quavo may be diving into new waters in the new genre on an upcoming project. The rapper rose to fame as the co-founder and lead singer of former group Migos. Although, the Atlanta native is still dealing with the death of his nephew and fellow member of Takeoff. He was shot and killed in a bowling alley last year, a grisly death. The rapper has been open about his understandable struggles with depression since the death of his beloved nephew Take. However. he found new inspiration through his work and in his faith.


Rapper Quavo recently revealed in an interview that he would be open to working on a gospel project. The revelation comes shortly after his debut as an actor. The rapper stars alongside Chloe Bailey and Anjelika Washington in the Peacock Original film, "Praise This." The film is centred on finding purpose and strength through faith. It is set in the competitive world of youth cheer teams.


 The rapper recently sat down with Vibe to chat about his film experience and his upcoming projects. "When asked if he would continue to explore his faith through music, Quavo seemed open to the idea. Rapper's words: I wouldn't mind," he said. gospel who used their faith to overcome similar obstacles. "I think they feel that's how they made it. Quavo has confirmed that his next project is a solo album called Rocket Power. The work will be a heartfelt homage to Takeoff, he did not share further details on when the project will be released. Although, most of his fans expect it to be an emotional send-off to the late rapper Takeoff.
