Young Thug is also seeking information about an informant identified as KC.

Young Thug and his co-defendants are fighting with their might to prove their innocence in the YSL organized crime case. Even though they didn't make it past jury selection, prosecutors are doing what they can to make sure the Atlanta rapper stays in jail. Still, his team of lawyers are working diligently to prove his innocence.

Reciently, Thug filed a motion in an attempt to redact footage from 2015 where he allegedly threatened Lil Wayne with evidence. According to AllHipHop, prosecutors believe this would be critical to proving that the YSL is a street gang, especially as the conviction was secured.

Thug and Birdman were indicted for the shooting, but neither were criminally prosecuted. Instead, Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, better known as Peewee Roscoe, was sentenced to prison after a jury convicted him of shooting up Lil Wayne's tour bus. While the feud between Weezy and Young Thug is a thing of the past, prosecutors have claimed that this evidence can secure their case.

In addition to the 2015 video about Lil Wayne, Young Thug also wants information about a tipster identified as "KC". The alleged informant began working with authorities around the same time that the Wayne video surfaced. Thug's lawyers believe that information about KC is imperative to the case. While there is still no decision, it's clear that Thugger's defense is working overtime to combat the prosecutor's arguments.

KC was identified as the alleged culprit in a shooting that took place at TIG Studios on January 8, 2015. Through the State's discovery process, police were able to obtain paperwork that identified KC as the shooter. Prosecutors have yet to prove any substantive evidence, including 911 calls, videos or reports related to the studio shooting.
