Ciara and her husband, Russell Wilson, found a creative way to repay the success, with a recent surprise visit to a maximum security prison. According to TMZ, the couple visited Florida's Everglades Correctional Facility last week to help lead a prayer with 300 incarcerated men. The Denver Broncos quarterback and "Goodies" singer appeared to fully immerse themselves in the experience in a video posted by God Behind Bars, the organization behind the trip.

The non-profit organization helps incarcerated people and their families connect with a local church. Elsewhere in the video, Russell read a few verses from the Bible, before Ciara sang to the crowd. “27 incarcerated men gave their lives to Jesus inside a maximum security prison,” wrote a representative for the nonprofit in an Instagram post last week. “300 incarcerated men packed the prison chapel to hear a word from @dangerusswilson. He opened the night in Isaiah, 'Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring up; Shouldn't you know that? I will even make a highway in the desert And rivers in the desert.' - Isaiah 43:19 ".

The rep continued, “In a place so easily filled with so much division, there was a moment when incarcerated men embraced and prayed for those struggling with anxiety and depression. After Ciara sang WAYMAKER, the men came forward and wept, giving their lives to Jesus.”

This isn't the first time the couple has volunteered their time to help others. Last year, the New York Post reported that Ciara and Russell Wilson paid a visit to a children's hospital, just days after he was traded to the Broncos from the Seahawks.

Ciara and Russell Wilson have been dating since 2016 and officially got married in 2018. She credited her breakup with Future with bringing her life and the clarity she needed to move forward. The singer and rapper were briefly engaged before ending their relationship in 2014.
