Kanye West Could Run Again for US President
Kanye West is considering running for President of the United States again. In July 2020, the "DONDA" rapper announced his intention to run for President of the United States. On Election Day that November, he received just over 70,000 votes, trailing President-elect Joe Biden.
Kanye revealed during an interview on ABC's "Good Morning America" that he "absolutely" intends to get back into politics in the United States. "That was not God's timing," he explained.
Kanye also discussed his decision to end his Yeezy fashion collaboration with Gap, as well as ongoing tensions between him and Adidas executives over their lucrative partnership.
"It was disrespectful to the voice of something I helped create." At Adidas, I co-created the product. "I co-created the product at Gap," the 45-year-old artist reflected. "That means I was there for a specific purpose, not for Yeezy Gap to be everything it could be, or for my fantasy of what the Gap could be." It's time for me to strike out on my own."
In light of the problems, Kanye West disclosed that he has hired lawyers to assist him in learning more about running his business.
"We had to advance. To truly demonstrate who is the new boss in town, that I am the boss myself. "I'm not just a man on a polo horse anymore," he added. "I'm not just a mid-game mascot getting the crowd excited by saying, 'Hey, use this, do this,' but I'm just learning financial engineering." Learning - learning how to run a business properly."
