Getting Spice, Shaggy and Sean Paul featured in music, could only result in a masterpiece as “Go Down Deh” is. It all happened when Spice reached out to Shaggy for a collab, which he could not hesitate to the Dancehall Queen’s request, and Sean Paul came after.
The music was all about great energy and nothing forced, that’s one of the reasons it is such a hit. Both legends, Shaggy and Sean Paul have done extremely well for the Dancehall genre and it is amazing to see that kind of unity among them. Both have inspired many artists and Spice herself is one of them, so no doubt she feels great about it because she was the first artist to ever bring both legends into a collaboration.
