The Madrid rivalry has been providing football lovers outstanding clashes for ages now, and this weekend's game between the 2 Madrid great sides wasn't any average encounter either. The match didn't disappoint the spectators providing a real expression of the heated rivalry between these two giants from the very start until the referees last whistle.
Although Atleti opened the score of the game, an astonishing goal from the Uruguyan Luis Suarez however Madrid's striker Karim Benzema who just came from an injury did have the last say of the game with his late equaliser inside the box assisted by Casemiro.
Having a look at the league's table, it's ironically Real Madrid's arch-rival Barcelona who gets the best out of the weekend since they're the closest contenders to the leader for the 2020-2021 league title. But still Atletico Madrid maintains the upper hand considering the fact that the club still has a game in hand.
