Eligible candidates from Senegalese Senghor and Ivoiriense Anouma for CAF

The candidacies of Senegalese Augustin Senghor and Ivoiriense Jacques Anouma, for the presidency of the African Football Confederation CAF, are eligible for the vote scheduled for March 12 in Rabat Morocco, the governing body responsible for African football announced Thursday. South African Patrice Motsepe, Ahmed Yahya Mauritanian, candidates, were also considered eligible, but the CAF Governance Committee considered that further checks are needed before making a final decision.

Malagasy Ahmad Ahmad, the outgoing president of CAF, saw his candidacy for his own succession literally rejected because of the withdrawal of any FIFA-related activities for five years
